I started painting shoes in 2020 during the early stage of earning my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, CA. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a business, with my designs finding a home on my Etsy shop. Along the way, I honed my skills using tools like Cricut, Canva, Photoshop, and various PNG converters to bring my ideas to life. Now, I’m focused on growing my business by building a talented team of customizers and scaling the shop to reach even greater heights.

I am an innovative and forward thinking shoe designer, I create designs that seamlessly blend aesthetics, comfort and functionality from scratch and I can custom design an already existing design, I have a meticulous eye for details and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship. I push myself each day to create footwear that are not only trendy and modern but also serves the function for which they are meant.

The Journey Behind CreateMySneakers

CreateMySneakers, originally known as GodSentKicks, has been customizing unique footwear since 2020. The journey began with Keyshawn, the founder, who discovered his passion for sneaker customization after finishing high school sports. With newfound time, he began transforming his own sneakers into works of art.

What started as a personal hobby quickly grew into a business, as Keyshawn began creating custom designs for friends and acquaintances to hone his skills. While pursuing a degree in Business at Cal State Dominguez Hills, Keyshawn launched his Etsy store, Custom Sneekers, where he began taking commissions and crafting one-of-a-kind pieces for customers across the globe. Keyshawn also teamed up with Otunla Isaac, a talented graphic designer and artist from Nigeria known as Highseek. Otunla specializes in creating intricate sketches and detailed mock-ups for CreateMySneakers, blending artistic vision with customer ideas. His expertise in graphic design adds a professional edge to every single project.
